Odin Health showcased its innovative prowess at the "Ring of FHIR" Interoperability Symposium & Connectathon event. Hosted by Te Whatu Ora, HISO, and HL7 New Zealand, the event aimed to collaborate with Australian counterparts to establish healthcare interoperability across Oceania.

The focal point of the event was the adaptation of the International Patient Summary (IPS) to New Zealand's unique landscape, culminating in the creation of the New Zealand Patient Summary (NZPS). Leveraging HL7® FHIR® and SNOMED CT® standards, IPS stands as the global benchmark for core personal health information and borderless care, integral to the digitalization of healthcare systems worldwide.

Odin Health made significant strides in healthcare interoperability by successfully adapting to the NZPS standard during the 'Ring of FHIR' Connectathon. The company's participation showcased its commitment to advancing interoperability in the healthcare sector.

At the core of Odin's success lies its Health-Native Odin NeXT Cloud Edition, a cloud-native solution which, with its comprehensive support for FHIR IPS, played a pivotal role in the successful implementation of the ALEX project in New Zealand years ago. This prior experience enabled Odin Health to seamlessly adapt to the NZPS standard during the recent event, emphasising its dedication to advancing interoperability in the healthcare sector.
