Auckland, March 19, 2025 — Odin Health successfully validated the Odin Engine’s support for New Zealand-localised FHIR standards at the 2025 HL7NZ FHIR Connectathon, demonstrating its ability to meet real-world interoperability requirements within the New Zealand healthcare context

Odin Engine Cluster Edition, which comes with built-in NZ-based FHIR profiles and terminology configurations, was tested in a live integration environment. It successfully enabled data exchange with the National Health Index (NHI) and facilitated communication with legacy EMR systems that do not support FHIR. Through real-time transformation of FHIR messages,Odin Engine Cluster Edition ensured that FHIR messages could be received and processed by such systems without requiring changes to the EMR itself.

This successful demonstration highlights Odin Health’s commitment to delivering integration solutions that are both standards-compliant and locally adapted.

Odin is also exploring the use of AI to automate the transformation of healthcare standards. By experimenting with AI-powered integration workflows, Odin Health aims to improve development efficiency and enable smarter, more automated data exchange in the future.
